Ordnance Terrace

The client wanted to create a space that was functional and contemporary students and single persons. The site located in Chatham, which is one of Kent County’s Borough of Medway’s towns, located in the north of Kent in the South East of England.

The existing building(s) is located less than 1 minute walk from the
station on Ordnance Terrace at the corner of Ordnance Street making it a corner building visible from three main directions. The building is made up of two (2) storeys with a floor in the loft space, while it also has a basement level.

The proposed development is for conversion of existing warehouse with 2.5metres front extension of the entire existing building and erection of additional five storeys, in order to create 11 luxury residential units (10 x Two bedroom flats and 1 x Penthouse), car parking at lower ground floor and A3 (restaurant/café) / A4 (drinking establishment) / A5 (hot food takeaway) mixed use commercial units at lower ground and ground floor levels.

This Ordnance Terrance project successfully offered functionality in an modern approach.
